1989 - Analogue picture from the pre VW California era.
Camping in Italy before the Westfalia period but with our first VW campervan. A VW Multivan Magnum with 112PS water boxer. Back then one of the fastest buses. Still without a catalyst. In the same year we bought our current VW T3 California. With the Mehler Bari travel tent from 1985 still on the picture. Great Festival Year 2019 - already looking forward 2020.
With Rock am Ring and Graspop two big festivals, seeing Slipknot twice within 2 weeks already worth it.
5 times #festivalsohnebands with the Campervans. A really nice Freiheitsmobile Treffen in Luxembourg, Bullifestival and Busbastler Basecamp and the fabulous Heimreise Movie Premiere in the Drive-In cinema in our region and a Campervan Summit Meeting in the alps.
So Rock am Ring and Graspop already locked for 2020🤘. Before I forget - This is just a Tribute 🤘😉

Weitere Vorstellung Lieblingsplatz
Ein weiterer unserer Lieblingsplätze diesmal wieder aus der Serie “Unterwegs im Herbst mit der ADAC Camping Karte”. Camping Le Saint Martin in Moliets-et-Maa im Süden Frankreichs am Atlantik. Grosszügige Plätze, perfektes wifi und gute Sanitäranlagen und das Alles mit dem direktem Strandzugang. Stellplatz, Campingplatz oder Freistehen?
In den letzten Jahren in Deutschland mehr und mehr ausgewählte Stellplätze, Campingplätze in D eher selten. Leider oft muffig und otze Anmeldeprozedur. Im Ausland gemischt, Campingplätze und Stellplätze und …. Zu Beginn unserer Campervan “Karriere” 1988 war das freistehen eigentlich noch, auch mangels Infrastruktur üblich. Da konnte man in D aber auch noch an jedem z.B Hallen-/oder Freibad oder Supermarkt Parkplatz oder Wanderparkplatz stehen, solange man niemand damit beläst

After only 2 usual festivals this year, #rar2019 and #gmm19 , I bought tickets for 2 unusual (for us) festivals in 2019. The #freiheitsmobiletreffen and the #busbastlerbasecamp . 🚐💨 Fun fact: In the thirtieth year with our #vwt3california the 1st festivals regarding #campervans.
