I installed them 1989 as I bought the westy and took them only off 4 or 5 times for maintenance. Still working and in good condition after nearly 30 years of use. Camping in Italy before the Westfalia period but with our first VW campervan. A VW Multivan Magnum with 112PS water boxer. Back then one of the fastest buses. Still without a catalyst. Due to the travel restrictions there is time to go through the analog photos from our early days with the VW T3 California. I can only estimate the time of the pictures from the additions on the vwbus or the location of the picture. Another chapter from to much time on my hand. A long postponed requested task fulfilled. Kitchen extension in the #vwltflorida. The tricky part was, the bathroom wall an the kitchen aren’t parallel. Stay at home -no travelling - saved 99 Euro which already spent

So far I had an substitute as a cover for the propane tank fittings on the VW LT Florida. I ordered a new stainless steel bracket and a original VW plastic cover. Now with the travel ban I had enough time on my hand to restore the 30 year old cover abandoned from the VW T3 California. What an easy, satisfying job if you have the right product. I got this tip from Patrick from pataschasworld . The product I saw also at hermann-unterwegs.de , they used it inside the vehicle. Since we have a total of 90 years of VW camper vans here 😳, some of the plastic parts have of course been bleached out and I thought this was definitely worth a try. Heated Campervan Floor - Douchebag (?)

Do we get douchebags now after 30 years of #vwcamper #travels? Anyway, bought a heated floor mat which fitted well between our 2 benches in the #vwltflorida Now we have cosy warm feet, can't say right now, if the mat keeps the temperature inside the #camper a little bit up as support for the eberspächer heater.
